Introduction

Hello, I'm a first time mom to a beautiful girl, E, born February this year. I used to have a blog in LiveJournal during my younger days in university, however that's gone defunct much due to laziness and lack of motivation.

Then I quit my job, left London, got hitched to a wonderful guy, and moved to Perth. Then I decided to set up a new blog (written in Chinese) so as to share my experience of living in the sunny Down Under, some kitchen disasters and little snippets of everyday (otherwise mundane) life.

As for E, with some careful planning and timing (yes, for work's sake!), we had her. 9 months later, E was born on a sunny afternoon in the middle of summer (not without some adventures - but that will be another story altogether).

Now I'm on my maternity leave, fully enjoying motherhood, looking after little E. Watching E growing from a tiny helpless baby into a strong-willed feisty little tyke is the most rewarding job I've ever had. Alright, she's only a few months old now :p but hey, first time moms are allowed to be THAT excited, in fact, all moms are allowed to be THAT excited about their babies!

So, I'm going to pen down the ups and downs of motherhood, good times and bad times with E, before memory fails me.
